Aspects Academy is conveniently located in the heart of Colchester city centre, housed within one of the city’s longest-standing beauty salons, Aspects MediSpa.
Our training is conducted in a fully equipped, purpose-built space, ensuring the highest standards of education and treatment are met.
Aspects Academy is an approved centre for delivering both accredited courses and government recognised qualifications.
Structure:
Upon booking you will be given access to our Online Student Portal, where you will complete your pre-course learning prior to attending the academy. You will attend for a full day (10am – 4pm) of training. The course is a mix of theory and hands-on practical. After a recap of the theory the tutor will perform a demonstration then students will perform their practical treatment. There are no exams or case studies required, your competence is assessed by the tutor throughout the training day.
Models:
No models are required for this course. Students will work upon each other to give & receive treatments. If you have any contra-indications that prevent you from having a treatment you will need to contact the academy and arrange your own model

No kit is included in the course fee. All products / tools required to complete this course as provided at the centre for your use on the training day. Guidance will be given on the day by the tutor about products / suppliers we recommend.
This course is best suited for people already carrying out facial treatments and looking to add an additional facial treatment.

Many insurers will require you to have completed an OFQUAL regulated facial qualification to enable them to provide cover to deliver these advanced treatments.
The requirements to cover you for advanced facial treatments can vary by insurer, so we suggest confirming these with your chosen insurer before booking your training.

Microneedling is reknowned for rejuvenating the skin’s surface leaving it looking smoother, with improved skin tone and firmness. It is excellent as an anti-aging treatment working on fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation but also can bring dramatic improvements to scarring and acne indentations on the face. Often referred to as skin needling or collagen induction therapy, it is administered using an automated pen applicator. The process is safe and comfortable for the client, moving the device across the surface of the skin to create minute, superficial punctures that will incite minor trauma to the skin to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. This in turn boosts blood and lymph circulation and stimulates collagen cell growth as part of the skin’s natural 3 stage healing process to force the renewal of the epidermis.
These treatments are great as a course of treatments, recommended monthly – with minimal to no downtime so that clients immediately gain the benefits with no drawbacks.
